4 months to basecamp 2013
We have started to invite people from the OLPC ecosystem to participate in the basecamp 2013. For the next few weeks we hope to get some positive replies. We do not have a program agenda yet - our focus presently is to extend invitations to people who have dedicated years to OLPC mission. Their experience and wisdom will be invaluable !

We have a venue!

If we get better offers we have instructions to "OCCUPY" this little cosy (from photos) guesthouse for BaseCamp@Malacca from Nov 16-18, 2013. Don't think their wireless can cope with our traffic. So maybe we have to do a mini-deployment (or training workshop) here to "walk the talk". Make it into a meet2learn hub for a learning community :-)

olpc BaseCamp is a GO GO GO

Back from OLPC Asia meeting. Some show of hands that some key people will be making time available to fly in from Hong Kong for the meetup. The ball is starting to gain momentum. Have to see if we can get some interest from people in Asia region and abroad.
