Well the actual basecamp won't would look like this!.
In fact it will be hot ....  :-( as Malacca is near the equator!

BaseCamp Malacca 2013 here I come. Still waiting for e-mail confirmation (to be real sure) to inform me if my flight booking to Malaysia in November went through.

Hope the gang (or triad in our slang) book their flights today to save some $$$ and to make things certain that it is Go Go GO!

If we get better offers we have instructions to "OCCUPY" this little cosy (from photos) guesthouse for BaseCamp@Malacca from Nov 16-18, 2013. Don't think their wireless can cope with our traffic. So maybe we have to do a mini-deployment (or training workshop) here to "walk the talk". Make it into a meet2learn hub for a learning community :-)

Back from OLPC Asia meeting. Some show of hands that some key people will be making time available to fly in from Hong Kong for the meetup. The ball is starting to gain momentum. Have to see if we can get some interest from people in Asia region and abroad.
